"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; and teaching them to obey all I have commanded you . . ." Matthew 28:19-20
Calvary Baptist Church is strongly committed to missions on local, national, and international levels. Every year, our church sends workers to the Dominican Republic to participate in construction work and ministry. Once a month, Calvary hosts Community Café and provides meals to the homeless in our community. More information on our current missions opportunities may be found below.

Our church is also affiliated with the Gallery Church in New York City.

Community Café
Community Cafe is a local mission opportunity that provides lunch for the homeless as well as anyone in the community that would like to have lunch. Currently, Community Cafe is working out of the Journey Home in Murfreesboro. The second Thursday of each month is Calvary's Day to serve. We need individuals that would like to prepare food, serve food, pray, visit and eat with those who come to eat or with those who will stop in for take-out only.

International Mission Trip
Dominican Republic
Calvary Baptist Church has made it a mission to sponsor the Dominican Republic community of La Cumbre. We are partnering with The Defender of the Faith Church and it's pastor Thelma to begin a goat ministry that will provide milk to the under nourished children of La Cumbre. The milk produced by the goats can also be used to produce cheese, yogurt, butter, and (over the long term) a means of income for the single mothers in the community. For more information on our goat ministry, please click here.
